At the same price or lower I can have much stronger spot welder using 800E microwave transformer with 3x30mm copper bar (equivalent 90mm2 wire), double pulse timer and force balancer. Measured peak inrush current is over 1500A which is so easy for 0.3 nickel strip or thicker.
